Among Modus’ key accomplishments for 2008 was “Les Corbeaux” (The Crows), which aired recently on TF1 in France. In all, Modus delivered 349 VFX shots for the three-hour long mini-series, 200 of which involved the integration of computer-generated 3D crows. The main plot centers around the invasion of a coastal town in Northern France by a menacing flock of killer crows. Additional effects included sky replacements, along with the addition of rain and storm elements and other composite effects.
The two episodes aired on January 26th and February 2nd, 2009.
