A budget estimate is the starting point for every production. For Modus, this step becomes a process whereby we accompany you in refining your needs and in finding solutions to overcome any challenges that arise. Ongoing client communications
Modus generates weekly status reports presenting detailed information on the progress of each and every shot or asset. This paves the way for an effective communication experience throughout the post-production process. Modus ensures that every request is thoroughly noted in a shared database where administration and production staff can instantly follow up on changes, versions and approvals. Distance is not an issue. The studio uses a multitude of high-end software, enabling our team and clients to efficiently review visual media... anywhere.
On set supervision & Data capture
Modus’ talented and experienced VFX Supervisors have worked on-set for feature films and TV series. Wherever you choose to film, Modus can have an expert on hand to ensure every detail is covered, assisting in production all the way through to final delivery. As an addition to our on-set supervision service, our on-location Data Capture ensures that data is collected quickly and conveniently onsite where the shoot is taking place. Utilizing a dynamic, interactive, data-driven interface with real-time communications, our solutions enable sophisticated data-collection methods in a timely and effective manner.

TAX CREDITS
Take advantage of an effective, proven VFX tax return program.
Quebec has long been a forerunner in refundable tax credits for film production and digital effects. The provincial tax incentives state that, on admissible film and television projects, all production and post-production budgets spent in the province of Quebec will automatically receive a tax return rebate of 25% on all eligible expenses, with no set maximum. Specialized labor costs for VFX are awarded an additional 5% return. The federal tax incentive program will add a further 16% return on any remaining labor costs.
