Modus FX confirms having been retained as the sole visual effects provider for the movie Barney's Version, a feature film produced by Serendipity Point Films and directed by Richard J. Lewis.
The film, based on the novel by Montreal author Mordecai Richler, was adapted to screenplay by writer Michael Konyves (The Art of War). Dustin Hoffman, Rachelle Lefebvre, Minnie Driver and Paul Giamatti star in the film, which was shot last fall in Quebec (in the Laurentians, Eastern Townships and in Montreal), as well as in New York City and Italy.
Modus is already midway through visual effects on the project which is planned for release in theaters later this year.
